		<description> Multiplo: Rob and Otto from Jeoan on Vimeo.

This client was approached by us as a part of choosing and working with our own clients at Hyper Island final project.

 Multiplo
Multiplo sells open source robots kits. Their Kickstarter campaign was one of the most interesting and anticipated in the tech genre 2012. They also had an experimental approach to things that fit our our student agency perfectly.

 Brief:
We had a completely open brief.

 Insights
Being a startup, money and resources are scarce. Kickstarter is a great start to get funding and build expectation, but that expectation also needs to be met when the campaign is over. Especially on service, feedback and support. We wanted to emphasize that the backers still play an important role in shaping Multiplo.

Multiplo have few human resources and a small marketing budget. However they have great in-house tech skills and robots that we wanted to utilize.

 Opportunity/Our own brief
Combine the available resources into a concept that exceeds backers’ service expectations, creates buzz and shows off the awesome capabilities of the product.

&#60;img src="http://payload136.cargocollective.com/1/2/79278/5033590/twitter.png" width="521" height="311" width_o="521" height_o="311" src_o="http://payload136.cargocollective.com/1/2/79278/5033590/twitter_o.png" data-mid="28527519"  border="0" align="left"/&#62;
The idea
A robot driven customer feedback channel.

Backers control two robots placed in the Multiplo office with their tweets. The robots praise or punish the Multiplo staff in real time. Every user gets immediate response and photo confirmation that their opinion has been heard.

How it works
"Rob and Otto" is Multiplo's customer care and feedback system, run through the twitter API.
The two product based robots are placed in the Multiplo office equipped with cameras and launch mechanisms. Rob handles positive feedback and Otto negative.
When a backer tweets @robandotto it's analyzed, printed and passed to the correct robot.
The robot then delivers it's praise or punishment to the Multiplo employees by launching Candy or Ping-Pong balls and takes a photo. It replies back to the user that the feedback has been delivered and attaches the photo.

ODDLAB: Our weekly, open source creative lab project with industry guest speakers.
The idea behind the "Oddlab" was to have a set time every week where anyone could come and take parts in workshops where we focused on digital innovation. With facilitators from different areas of the industry and a mix of creative, design, tech and development everything we did would be donated to the internet!

		<description> Region Blekinge Kultur: Moln.et from Jeoan on Vimeo.
Work for the municipality of Blekinge with Student agency "Oddly few" at Hyper Island. Part of our final project.

 Our developed product prototype can be tested at: http://lab.oddlyfew.com/partikel/

The  Brief
"We want more young people involved in local culture.
We also want to help realize more projects."

The Insights
The process of submitting ideas and getting involved in projects is tedious and outdated. There's alot of ideas and people interested in taking part but not one, simple way to do so.

 The idea:
Create a platform that connects people to whatever they may need to make ideas come to life. Turn the goverment processes into a collaborative, simple and engaging one.

 The Product
"Molnet" (the cloud in swedish) is a web platform for crowdsourcing and realizing cultural ideas. It collects ideas and paires them with related people, information and the assets needed to make them come to life and be ready for goverment funding programs.

 It works in 3 simple steps.

1. Name the idea.
&#60;img src="http://payload108.cargocollective.com/1/2/79278/4478814/Ideregistrering-del-1_905.png" width="900" height="356" width_o="900" height_o="356" src_o="http://payload108.cargocollective.com/1/2/79278/4478814/Ideregistrering-del-1_o.png" data-mid="28528453"  border="0" align="left"/&#62;

2. Post the idea and add relevant tags, for example "Film", "Music", "Musicvideo", "Locations".
&#60;img src="http://payload108.cargocollective.com/1/2/79278/4478814/Ideregistrering-del-2_905.png" width="900" height="358" width_o="900" height_o="358" src_o="http://payload108.cargocollective.com/1/2/79278/4478814/Ideregistrering-del-2_o.png" data-mid="28528199"  border="0" align="left"/&#62;

3. Get suggestions on related people, assets and information that can take it to the next step. For example film directors, bands, film locations, equipment etc.
&#60;img src="http://payload108.cargocollective.com/1/2/79278/4478814/Ideregistrering-del-4_905.png" width="900" height="479" width_o="900" height_o="479" src_o="http://payload108.cargocollective.com/1/2/79278/4478814/Ideregistrering-del-4_o.png" data-mid="28528215"  border="0" align="left"/&#62;

 Now the user can find and connect to the people and assets that can make their idea happen. Then turn it into a project qualified and ready for goverment funding. Simple.

Why, when and where
I simply love to do. From the birth of an idea all the way to finished product.
Drive, agility and passion are my biggest assets. To constantly explore, feed my curiosity and grow is what I live for. My goal is to create engaging, innovative ideas and experiences.

My journey started with rebuilding my toys as a kid, to a store salesman, through the life of a professional artist and musician. In 2011 it took me to Hyper Island and the Digital Media program. That's where I learned to use my curiosity and life passions to become a multidisciplinary creative and grew my own moustache.

I appreciate input, feedback and new collaborative possibilities so just drop me a line: jeoan(a)jeoan.com</description>

The task:
"Create a product or service with a sustainable business solution."

The insights
The majority of safety problems women experience happen when they are alone.
Especially vulnerable are young women during and after a night out.

The idea:
A social safety service for young women.
It connects them to their friend network via their iPhones and turns their social network into a safety unit.

"Among friends you’re safe".
Younit connects young women on nights out via their smart phones.
It enables them to keep an eye on each other and socialize , even when they’re not together.

What makes the Younit different from then apps on the market is the use of social safety. Users are connected to friends as nodes in a network. When friends get separated the security levels increase. It's a seamless process of keeping your friends safe.

Other.
With this idea, the team also entered "Venture Cup" in february 2012. At the end of the module our concept was pitched to a jury of independent investors from the industry.

Key app functions:

My role: Creative.
My production credits: Concept/Music &#38; Audio/3D/Visual FX/Compositing

The Task
To create and present a creative and functioning technical product at the Hyper Island "Exploring technology" exibition.

The idea
An interactive game that uses your hand movement as a controller. That blends disciplines and types of media. Using art, photography, music, 3D and video to create one immersive installation experience.

Inumbra concept/mood
"Growing up, you have lost your lively, colourful inner child. It is trapped in this dark, scary and industrial world. A soulless place where the shadows rule. You need to find it and bring it back."

How it works
Inumbra uses Kinect motion tracking to play a interactive game divided into 4 scenes. You use your hands to grab and touch things in the enviroment and by moving your head and body you can move around in the image. It combines the kinect data with 3D projected media. Blending 2D art, Video, photos, audio, 3D and visual fx into a surreal world.

This video shows the game in action and some shots from the exibition and booth building.

This video explain more about the concept and presents the team members.

Here are some project snapshot from my After Effects projects for compositing the scenes containing 3D, Video and photoshop project files with art &#38; images.
